Paradiso Ritrovato and Archintreccio are happy to offer a EU funded hands-on training course about ecological sustainability, permaculture, natural buildings and their applications in teaching projects. We will experience life in nature developing basic skills in building, weaving and sculpting with recycled and spontaneous materials such as local wood, earth, stones etc.

Sain toukokuussa onnekkaana mahdollisuuden päästä osallistumaan Mikä Kestää?:n puolesta Italiassa järjestettävään permakulttuuritapaamiseen. Weaving the Wild-tapahtuman ideana oli tuoda yhteen erilaisia järjestöjä, jotka toimivat permakulttuurin parissa ja luoda kestäviä suhteita toimijoiden välille. Suuri paino oli myös sillä, miten voisimme hyödyntää mm. EU:n Youth in Action ohjelmaa rahoittaaksemme erilaisia tapahtumia, kursseja ja nuorisovaihtoja liittyen esimerkiksi kestävään elämäntapaan, ympäristötietoisuuteen, permakulttuurisuunnitteluun tai vaikkapa luonnon monimuotoisuuden säilyttämiseen.

Kolme viidestä Paradiso Ritrovaton jäsenestä, jotka meille tämän loistavan mahdollisuuden järjestivät!

Weaving the Wild järjestettiin Puglian maakunnassa sijaitsevassa Giardino della Gioia -ekokylässä, joka sijaitsee Adrianmeren rannalla. Ekokylän alue oli kokonaisuudessaan kahdeksan hehtaarin laajuinen ja osittain Garganon luonnonpuiston alueella. Paikka oli mielettömän kaunis oliviipuineen, jurttineen ja puutarhoineen. Matka Italiaan sujui junalla enemmän tai vähemmän mukavasti (ehdottomana kohokohtana oli, kun satuin junaan välillä Nizza-Monaco samana päivänä, kun Monacossa oli F1-kisat. Seinää vasten liiskaantuneena muutaman formulafanin välissä…Monacon aseman jälkeen olinkin taas ainut koko vaunussa :D). Foggian asemalle satuin puolivahingossa melkein samaan…

Weaving the Wild, la tavola rotonda internazionale sui temi della Permacultura e della Transizione, si conclude con un bilancio decisamente positivo.

Nell’incantevole cornice del Parco Nazionale del Gargano ospiti dell’eco villaggio Giardino della Gioia, abbiamo trascorso una settimana, dal 27 maggio al 1 giugno, di intenso e proficuo lavoro tra splendide persone e una meravigliosa natura.

The partnership building activity “Weaving the Wild” presents Mikä Kestää?

The name Mikä Kestää? plays with the Finnish language. It means both ”what is taking so long?” and ”what is sustainable?”. That is perfect for us since we are more than ready to take action and want to encourage others to do so as well. The association was founded 1,5 years ago by a group of young people. Our main goal is to raise awareness of permaculture and ways to live ecologically. We want to share knowledge and inspire people to question their lifestyle, see other possible ways to do things and take action towards more sustainable manner of living.
